How to get to Casale Santa Brigida

From the A1
Exit at the Magliano Sabina exit.
At the stop sign at the end of the exit, turn left onto Via Flaminia.
(the road isn’t actually labeled anywhere.)
Take the second right onto the Passatore (This isn’t labeled either, but
isn’t it nice to know the name of the street?). Look for a blue sign pointing
to the right labeled “Calvi dell’Umbria.”
Take the Passatore until it ends in a T-intersection.
To get to the Casale Santa Brigida
At the T turn Left. Take the second right (comes up right away), following the sign
to Fattoria Umbre. This is our street. Resisting the urge to veer off onto
driveways or tractor paths, stay on the main road. After curving and dipping
and winding and finally a 90 degree turn to the right, you’re amongst our
olive trees. The Santa Brigida is ahead on the left, a complex of lovely
yellow buildings with wagon wheels and an arched water trough on the
road. Please park in the parking lot, past the buildings on the left.
Drive between the two light posts to park.
By Train
The nearest train stations are:
- Civita Castellana – Magliano (15 minutes by car)
- Narni (30 minutes by car)
- Orte (30 minutes by car)
It is possible to take a bus from the Narni train station to Poggiolo. Casale Santa Brigida is a 7-minute mostly downhill walk from the Poggiolo bus stop. Email us for specific walking directions.

for train times. To check train times from the Fiumicino airport you need to use “Fiumicino Aeroporto” as the FROM city. Please note that you will need to arrange a pick up in advance from either of these train stations to get to the Casale Santa Brigida. There is no public transportations and taxis are uncommon.
